#TBT – That time Sunday after the #StarWarsHalf when my brother busted me getting a #FinisherMedal pic in front of #SleepingBeautyCastle. Sharing that #runDisney race weekend with the brother who I played #StarWars with growing up (in the 70's & 80's) was awesome. At one point we watched #ANewHope every day after school on the VHS copy our Dad recorded from its first TV broadcast in the early 80's. #Disneyland #DisneylandResort #DLR #HanSolo #Chewbacca #PrincessLeia #LukeSkywalker

Farewell Goats. Hello Wookies! Star Wars Land is coming to Disneyland!

A ‘due date’ of 2019 puts the opening of Star Wars Land at Disneyland (and WDW) three years after taking this picture…and FOUR after they announced the lands at D23 Expo in 2015. After seeing the plans they shared at Star Wars Celebration, I can imagine it’s going to be worth the wait. Almost.
